The spring/summer collection MUREX is named after the large sized predatory sea snails murex that were historically used to make a purple dye for garments for prestigious people. SS19 MUREX is all about the celebration of the color purple – one of the most powerful colors out there.

Purple is the color of creativity, individuality, ambition and confidence. Purple relates to the world of imagination and the need to escape the practical and everyday life. Purple is dreamy and gives a touch of futurism. Therefore we designed the collection based on the concept of escape and reaching for nature.

The collection items are named after purple colored elements that can be found in nature. We truly believe that nature can be a true escape to everyday life. Nature can be like a real life dream. If we allow ourselves to escape we can find a lot of inspiration.

All items are named after purple flora, foods, and minerals. This collection allows you to equip your look with practical garments and accessories. We used purple as the leading color of this collection as well as the usual color palette consisting of black, white and grey.
